Registration Details
Online registration opens from 25th October 2021 at 12.00 pm Online registration closes on the 21st of November 2021 by 12.00 pm

Space & Attendance
Program space is limited to 30 children per timeslot, so register online early to secure your space. Registrants are required to notify the registration department of any cancellation.

Deposit & Payment
A SG$100.00 non-refundable deposit is required when you submit your application. The balance of SG$2400.00 is payable by 22nd November 2021 by 12.00 pm after confirmation of registration. Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email.

Cancellation Policy
50% of fees is refundable within 3 days of full payment. There is no cancellation or refunds strictly after that due to customization of the program for your child.

Policies
Backpack Search I agree that any program participant’s belongings may be searched outside the participant’s presence for drugs, alcohol, weapons, or other forbidden objects.
Lost or Stolen Items Children are asked to leave any valuables at home. The Academy and its employees are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Misconduct Any misbehavior/misconduct by the student/parent/guardian will lead to immediate dismissal of the child from the program.
Photographs I give my permission for my child’s photograph or video to be taken for use by Creta Academy in program brochures, annual report, website, social media sites and other promotional materials and for release to local newspapers.

Creta Academy Alumni Program
As part of your child’s development, we have an Alumni Program - Council for Exceptional Children. The membership entitles to you discounts with our vendors, as well as an exclusive invite to our events, newsletter e.g. More information will be provided once the program is over.

Declaration
We acknowledge that this application does not automatically admit our child to the program. The Academy reserves the right to make the final decision with respect to admission.
We acknowledge that, should this application be accepted, we, the parents and guardians, and our child, undertake to abide by the policies and regulations of the Academy, and we understand that in serious instances of breach like, damage to premise property, or bodily harm to another student/teacher, our child may be asked to leave the program.
In the event of sudden Covid-19 heightened measures and the program is unable to continue as per normal, there will be no refund of fees. Creta Academy reserves the right to decide if the remaining program will be postponed, cancelled, or be replaced with other activities.
We acknowledge that, upon acceptance of this application we agree to pay the total fee as applicable and abide by the billing options outlined in the fee schedule as informed by the Academy.
We acknowledge that the Academy will take reasonable care and exercise due diligence within its premises and during program activities, it will bear no responsibility should the applicant exercise any reckless and/or careless behavior that may endanger her/his safety and others around and as such cause harm or injury to herself/himself and others.
We declare that all previous medical and psychological histories are correctly reported on the admission form.
On leaving the program, our child shall return any program property they might have borrowed during their time in the program.

FAQ

What are the program hours?

We run from 12th March – 15th March 2022. Availability is on a first come, first served basis.

What is your refund policy?

80% of fees is refundable till 12th February.
50% of fees is refundable till 20th February.
There are no cancellation or refunds after the 21st February, due to customization of the program for your child.

How old does my child have to be to attend the program?

We take in children from Primary 1 (7 years old) to Primary 6 (12 years old).

How will my child benefit from attending this program?

Your child will be taught social skills to form good rapport and relationships with their family, friends, and the community. They will be introduced to academic tools to help them study smarter, faster, and more efficiently. We will show them the joys of gaining new knowledge while cultivating their organization skills and self-discipline.

My child is quite shy, would this program help them be more confident?

Yes. Our segment on social skills will help your child learn effective and valuable communication skills while the team building activities will help your child bolster their confidence as they work with their peers towards a common goal.

Is payment due in full when I register?

Yes. You must submit payment in full to reserve a spot for your child, as spots are limited.

What are the program participation standards?

Creta Academy deeply values the health and well-being of our staff and participants. As such, your child needs to meet the health screening criteria as suggested by MOH in order to ensure a safe experience for all. Please review the requirements below to ensure that your child is eligible to participate before registering and prior to attending. Eligible to Participate · No symptoms of COVID-19. · No travel to/from high-risk areas as defined by the MOH. · No prolonged contact with COVID-19 clusters/someone diagnosed with COVID-19.

Will my child be insured for injuries during this program?

Your child’s safety and well-being is extremely important to us. All children under our care will be insured against any injuries. The insurance details will be sent to you upon registration.

Whom should I contact should I need to reach out to my child during the program?

We will provide emergency contact details of our staff on duty once your child has been successfully admitted into the program.

Are outside snacks/food allowed?

Outside snacks/food will not be permitted.

Can my child use his/her mobile phone during the program?

To ensure that they are focused on the lessons and to prevent any loss of property, mobile phone usage is not permitted.

If my child misses a day or two of the program, will he/she be given any make-up lessons?

Unfortunately we will not be able to provide any make-up lessons as new skills are taught daily, sometimes by external vendors.

Are online classes an option?

Because of the nature of our program, it is important that children attend in person with our trainers. If we are unable to conduct our program in person due to unforeseen circumstances or new Covid-19 rules, then we will proceed to have the program via Zoom.

Will transportation be provided? Can it be arranged for an additional fee?

We understand that arranging transportation can be a challenge. Subject to demand, we will work with a recognised 3rd party transport provider to ferry your child to and from HarbourFront MRT station from designated MRT stations across Singapore. Please note that all transportation costs are to be borne by the parents/guardians and are not a part of the program fees.

Have all the staff and trainers been COVID-19 vaccinated?

Yes. The staff and trainers have received all the required doses of the COVID-19 vaccination.

What is covered in the follow-up sessions?

Our trainers will reinforce what your child has learned at our program by emphasizing key learning points and individually reviewing his/her skills and progress. Your child is also free to bring up any struggles or difficulties he/she has encountered at school or at home – even if it is unrelated to our program. We have a Positive Psychology coach, a dedicated child counsellor, as well as a team of qualified counsellors from Singapore Counselling Centre who are ready to serve in whatever way they can.
