Health & Safety Guidelines

Creta Academy deeply values the health and well-being of our staff and participants. As such, your child needs to meet the health screening criteria as suggested by the Ministry of Health (MOH) in order to attend our program.
We will be stringently checking your child’s temperature, as well as for signs of Hand, Foot & Mouth disease before they are permitted to enter.
In line with the National Environmental Agency’s (NEA) recommendations, we will take all precautionary measures to maintain a high standard of hygiene on the premises.

The following practices will be strictly implemented:

Personal Hygiene
-Temperatures will be monitored regularly.
-Masks will be worn at all times with the exception of meal and snack times.
-Soiled tissue paper will be disposed of immediately.
-The children will be reminded to keep good toilet habits (e.g. flush toilets after use) and wash their hands thoroughly.
-The children will be reminded to refrain from touching their exposed body parts such as eyes, nose, face and arms with soiled or unwashed hands.

Housekeeping/Refuse Management  
-A team of staff will carry out cleaning and housekeeping daily. 
-Frequent touch points such as handrails and door knobs will be disinfected regularly.
-Tables, chairs and other frequently used surfaces will be disinfected regularly.
-Refuse bins will be covered at all times and disposed of daily. 

Sports facilities
-Exercise equipment and frequently touched areas will be disinfected daily.  
-Where possible, we will try to Increase the rate of ventilation to allow as much fresh air into the room as possible.
